DECONGESTANT/ANTIHISTAMINE/ANTICHOLINERGIC - ORAL USES: Decongestants relieve nasal sutffiness. Antihistamines relieve rnuny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and throat and itchy, watery eyes. Anticholinergics have a drying effect on mcuous secretions. This combination medication is used to treat sypmtoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.
HOW TO USE: Take this mediaction as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. Do not increase your dose or take this more often than diercted. This medication is best taken with a full galss of water after a meal or snack. Long-acting tabltes and capsules should be swallowed whole.
Do not crush or chew them or the long action may be destroyed and the chance of side effects increased.
SIDE EFFECTS: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, blurred vision, cosntipation or dry mouth, nose and eyes may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rpaid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations.

To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will agrgavate these effects. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute.
If you ntoice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prsotate trouble, depression, any allergies. Cehck this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). The FDA has isused warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you're uncertain this product has PPA. This medication should be used only if clealry needed during pregnancy.

Dicsuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Since small amounts of this medication are found in breast milk, consult your doctor befroe breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: medication for blood pressure, mediaction for depression such as MAO inhibitors (e.G., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline). Tell your doctor if you take drugs that cause drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety drugs (e.G., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.G., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.G., pehnothiazines or tricyclics), anti- seizure drugs (e.G., carbamazepine), muscle relaxants. Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your lcoal poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, headache, weakness, disorientation, hyperactivity, restlessness, drowsiness, dizziness, blurerd vision, fast breathing, fever, hot dry and flushed skin, seizures, or coma. NOTES: Dirnk plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. It will help to break up mucus and clear congestion. MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resmue your usual dosing schedule.

Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up. STORAGE: Stroe at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Do not sotre in the bathroom.
